Cescaphe Event Group Unveils Stunning New Wedding & Event Destination

Impressive 17,000 Square Foot Facility Opening October, 2011

For 27 years, Joe Volpe has defined what it means for a bride to get married in Philadelphia. From the old-world charm of his Cescaphe Ballroom, to the more expansive splendor of The Atrium at the Curtis Center, to the sparkling new Tendenza in Northern Liberties, Volpe’s vision and sense of hospitality have created lifelong memories for the hundreds of thousands of people who have attended his weddings.
And now, with the opening of Vie, a 17,000 square foot wedding and event destination located at 600 North Broad Street in Philadelphia, he’s set to outshine even what he’s done in the past.

“With the opening of this new venue,” Volpe said, “this will add an entirely new facet to what Cescaphe Event Group can do. We can host sit-down affairs for up to 800 people or cocktail parties for over a thousand guests.”

Of course, that doesn’t mean that only the biggest affairs should consider Volpe’s new space; it is being designed and built in such a way that it can accommodate groups far smaller and still be made to feel perfectly intimate. That’s the genius of this space: No matter how large or small a celebration may be, every event held here will be spectacular, and perfectly tailored to that particular day.

From the moment guests arrive at Vie, they’ll know that this is no typical party space. The mosaic-tile wall in the back of the entranceway, the live cooking stations, the champagne glasses on display, the state-of-the-art video elements — this is a space as suited to spirited soirees as it is the most extravagant wedding celebration. And the ballroom itself, though ringing in at a massive 17,000 square feet, is designed to grow or shrink depending on exactly what each individual party requires. There is also a stunning outdoor Italian garden space, and, if guests want to continue the party after the event ends here, they can easily slip over to neighboring restaurants, owned by Marc Vetri and Stephen Starr.
Vie is scheduled to open in October, 2011. Visit http://www.cescapheballroom.com to schedule an appointment to check out the space or learn more about the Cescaphe Event Group.
